Department of Telugu was established in 1975 with 175 STUDENTS, DR.J.KANAKADURGA, and Smt. L. SARADA DEVI as faculty. Later in 1983 DR R. VIJAYA KAKSHMI Joined the Department. During the period of her service she was the Editor of the college Magazine. After serving the institution for 28 years DR. R. VIJAYALAKSHMI retired from service in JUNE 2011.After the superannuation of DR R. VIJAYALAKSHMI, Smt. P. SWAPNA joined the department as a contract faculty.
